The MC4000X High Performance Controller is a XBus-only variant of MC4000. In this version, two simple I/O pins are traded for two XBus pins, but all the other caracteristics are the same. It has a general-purpose register "acc" and can hold up to nine lines of code. The cost is also ¥3.
Usage[]
The MC4000 can be programmed in the MCxxxx family common programming language consuming one unit of power per simple instruction. As the cheapest microcontroller and capable of holding only nine lines of code, it is commonly enployed in price and line count optimized solutions.
The absence of simple I/O pins can limit the uses of the MC4000x, but it can offer simpler and cheaper solutions for designs that enploy a lot of XBus signals.
