Lili Traffic signal

From: Wu Lili 吴丽丽 <wulili@longteng-co-ltd.gd.cn>

Once again we are set to contribute to a piece of a larger system for a company controlled by Sun Haotian. This one is a traffic signal for a six-way intersection, with support for emergency transponders that override the normal traffic pattern.

I don’t know any more than this.

No yellow signal. Does that mean they’re expecting robo-cars only? I wonder where they’d use this?

We shouldn’t speculate. It’s our job to provide well-engineered solutions, not play detective with a client’s overall plans.

Description[]

  • emergency is a simple input connected to a device that detects the transponders of nearby emergency vehicles.
  • light-0, light-1, and light-2 are simple outputs connected to go/no-go traffic signals for three different directions at a hexagonal intersection.
  • Control of the lights should be sequenced as indicated in the verification tab, turning off all lights when an emergency vehicle is detected and restarting the sequence when it leaves transponder range.
  • The durations of the phases are set by the operator using dials that can be read as XBus inputs.
